There is an active investigation underway as police investigate a shooting that sent one person to the hospital in the city overnight.
The incident was reported in the 600 block of Maple Avenue just before 10:30 p.m.
Police responded to reports of shots fired with possible victims. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering gunshot injuries.
Authorities believe that the victim suffered his injuries in a building over ay Mravlag Manor then ran to the Maple Avenue location where he sought medical assistance.
The extent of the victim's injuries have not been released as police immediately launched the investigation into the motive for the shooting.
There were no other injuries reported.
