EMS transported an alert and conscious victim who suffered injury from gunfire in the city's Central Ward to University Hospital late last night.
The shooting was reported in the 300 block of 18th Avenue shortly before 10:30 p.m. where police arrived to find the victim struck in the leg and hand by apparent gunfire.
Police setup a crime scene where they searched for evidence and a motive behind the shooting.
There were no arrests reported.
