Jersey City Police are looking into a shooting that sent one person to the hospital on Wednesday night.
According to police, the incident happened in the vicinity of 206 Myrtle Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. where officers responded to reports of shots fired at that location.
Police officers arrived at the scene requested EMS after they locate the victim suffering two gunshot wounds according to preliminary reports.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
There were no arrests reported.
