Police in Linden are investigating an incident where grenades were found at a location in the city this evening.
Police officials say at approximately 7:20 p.m., emergency responders rushed to the 100 block of Carnegie Street on reports of grenades found inside a residential garage.
Officials say The Union County Bomb Squad also responded to the scene, and upon inspection determined that the devices were inert and presented no danger to the public.
The incident remains under investigation.
