Individuals Sought for Questioning in Newark Shooting

Police in Newark are seeking the public’s help identifying the individuals who are wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Tuesday, March 21st.

According to authorities at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers responded to the 100-block of Renner Avenue on a call of shots fired.

There were no reports of injuries resulting from this incident authorities said.

While police are actively seeking to identify these individuals for questioning, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating them.

This investigation is active and ongoing.

Director Ambrose is urging anyone with information about the March 21st shooting on Renner Avenue to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867).

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
