Authorities have identified a Jersey City man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that claimed one life and left another man seriously injured early Sunday morning.

According to a statement released by the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office, homicide detectives are actively searching for 36-year-old Raheem Rhett of Jersey City, who is now facing multiple charges, including murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, and several weapons offenses.
The charges stem from a shooting that occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, along Orient Avenue near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Jersey City.
Responding Jersey City police officers found 38-year-old Jenardo Tejada of Jersey City suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Officials said the Regional Medical Examiner's Office is continuing to determine the official cause and manner of death.
During the investigation, officers also located a second victim, a 45-year-old Jersey City man, on Jackson Square with an apparent gunshot wound.
His condition has not been released.
Prosecutors warn that Rhett should be considered dangerous and should not be approached.
