Monmouth County authorities are on the search for a suspect who robbed a restaurant in Howell Township during the overnight hours.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the Dominoes Pizza located at 4318 US-9 after they received reports of an armed robbery that occurred at approximately before 12:45 a.m.
Arriving officers began an investigation when employees told them that an unidentified male entered the establishment armed with a knife and demanded cash.
It is not immediately clear how much cash the suspect took before fleeing the scene.
There were no physical injuries reported.
