Authorities are investigating an overnight shooting that occurred in Newark.
Several rounds of gunfire rang out in the 600 block of South 10th Street shortly before 2 a.m. sending police to the scene where a house and a van was struck by gunfire.
Several shell casings were located in the area but no one was injured.
The shooting is being investigated by the Newark Police Department.
