Police quickly extinguished a man they called homeless after he reportedly set his jacket on fire Saturday afternoon on Bloomfield Street.
According to police, the unidentified 25-year-old man, indicated that he wanted to hurt himself as he used paper and a lighter to set his himself on fire.
The man was transported to Hoboken University Medical Center with minor burns on his rib cage, police added.
