Police are investigating an early Sunday morning shooting in Trenton that left at least one person critically injured.
According to reports, police, firefighters, and EMS crews responded to the 300 block of East State Street shortly before 3:50 a.m. after receiving reports of a person who had been shot.
Emergency responders reportedly transported one victim to a nearby hospital in traumatic arrest. The individual’s condition has not been officially confirmed by authorities.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting, including what led to the violence and whether any suspects are in custody, were not immediately available.
