Hammonton Men Arrested for Possessing a Pound of Meth

Police arrested two Hammonton and charged them with possessing a pound of methamphetamine earlier in the week.

According to authorities, during a joint investigation by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office and the Clayton Police Department, police found Benigno Ramirez, 37, his cousin Salathiel Ramirez, 38, in the area of Academy Street and Atlantic Avenue.

A third man with the pair identified as Eugene Griffin, 37, of San Diego, was taken into custody on a warrant authorities said.

The three were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
