Haledon Resident Struck by Gunfire in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 4:55 p.m. Thursday, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Park Avenue and East 22nd Street Paterson on a report of a shooting.

Upon officers arrival, police located a potential crime scene but were unable to locate a victim.

Police say a short time later members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 24- year-old male Haledon resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
