Authorities have confirmed that a 37-year-old Hackensack man accused of shooting a couple Tuesday morning is now in custody.
According to officials, Odari Green, 37, of Hackensack, shot a couple on the 200 block of West Palisades Avenue sometime around 8:30 a.m. and then carjacked a black Honda Accord on Park Avenue in Hackensack.
EMS transported the couple to Hackensack University Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police said Green was eventually captured after a police pursuit on the Garden State Parkway by Troopers and the Maywood detectives.
Officials recovered a gun from inside the vehicle following Green’s arrest.
