Police located a gunshot victim at a gas station in Newark’s North Ward Sunday evening.
At approximately 6:10 p.m., police reports need to the BP Gas Station located at 66 Bloomfield Avenue to investigate reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police found the victim suffering a bullet wound at that location.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital for treatment while police taped off the area and conducted a crime scene investigation.
Police say no other injuries were reported.
