Authorities in Passaic County are looking into a shooting incident that injured a person in a section of Clifton on Monday night.
According to preliminary reports, police found the victim in the 30's block of Mahar Avenue around 10:30 p.m., suffering a bullet wound in their leg.
Units responded to the scene after receiving reports of a physical altercation in progress and found the victim.
Police say the victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and is expected o survive.
Police have not confirmed the motive for the shooting.
