Police in Elizabeth are attempting to ascertain the location of a shooting that left a person injured in the city overnight.
According to reports, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officials at Trinitas Hospital contacted police when an unidentified person entered the emergency room suffering gunshot wounds.
Police have not immediately confirmed where the victim was shot.
Officials are reporting non-fatal injuries at this time.
