Police are investigating a shooting incident that sent one person to a city medical center late Sunday night.
According to officials, shortly before 11:50 p.m., staff at the regional health center notified police after a gunshot victim entered the hospital seeking treatment.
When officers arrived, they interviewed the individual, who reported that the shooting occurred in the 900 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Police units canvassed the area and recovered shell casings at the scene, but no additional victims were located.
Authorities have not released details regarding a possible motive or suspect at this time.
The incident remains under active investigation, and Trenton Police said further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
