Gunmen Shoot 30-Year-Old Paterson Man Multiple Times

Passaic County authorities said at approximately 2:53 p.m. Tuesday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Godwin Avenue and Carroll Street on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officials said police located a potential crime scene and a 30-year-old male Paterson resident who had sustained multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Based on the initial investigation, police say the victim was standing in the area of Godwin Avenue and Carroll Street when several suspects began shooting at him.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
