Police are searching a neighborhood in a section of Newark for potential victims after a shots-fired incident that occurred this afternoon.
According to Police, at approximately 3:30 p.m., two vehicles pulled up in the area of 145 14th Avenue and began to fire shots at each others’ cars.
Police say the suspects then sped away immediately after the shooting.
Authorities have notified area hospitals to be on the lookout for possible gunshot victims.
Multiple shell casings were recovered at the scene.
There are no injuries at this time.
