By: Tracie Carter Police in East Orange are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Sunday night. Upon arrival, cops reportedly discovered an unidentified individual suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to University Hospital for treatment. Officials have not immediately confirmed the extent of their injuries. No arrests have been reported as of Monday morning. The incident remains under active investigation. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Preliminary information indicated that officers responded to reports of gunfire around 9 p.m. in the area of 5 North 16th Street.
