One person in Jersey City suffered severe injuries after a shooting that occurred on a street in the city Tuesday morning.
According to police, the incident happened at approximately 12:45 a.m. in the vicinity of Wegman Parkway and Martin Luther King Drive, where gunfire rang out at that location.
Police say officers arrived at the scene and found the unidentified victim struck by bullets.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors began treating serious injuries according to police.
Authorities are looking for two males and a female who occupied a stolen 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe and are wanted for the shooting.
Police say the vehicle is also wanted for multiple gas station robberies in Newark and Essex County.
