Police are investigating a shooting that happened a short time ago in the city.
Reports of shots fired that erupted in the 400 block of South 12th Street shortly before 6 p.m. sent police to the scene where they found a vehicle struck by gunfire.
A search of the area had police collect several shell casings at the scene but no victims.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
