A violent evening where gunfire erupted in several Trenton neighborhoods had three people injured in one section of the city.
Police were called to the vicinity of 407 North Montgomery Street at approximately 10:35 p.m. to investigate reports of shots fired.
Units arriving at the scene requested EMS on the rush after they found three gunshot victims according to preliminary reports.
According to police, two of the victims' injuries were considered severe while the third person suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the shooting one of several where gunmen who occupied a vehicle and armed with a 'long gun' began to fire shots in neighborhoods around Trenton randomly.
The motive for all of the shootings remains under investigation.
