Gunfire Strikes Three in Paterson Neighborhood

According to Passaic County authorities, at approximately 5:44 a.m. today, Paterson Police responded to the area of East 23rd and William streets on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene, but no victims were identified.

A short time later, Paterson Police were notified that a 31-year-old male,  a 43-year-old male, and a 25-year-old female -all Paterson residents- arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Police said the initial investigation determined that the victims were standing in the area of East 23rd Street and 12th Avenue when an unknown gunman began shooting.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
