Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one person injured in Plainfield on Saturday night.
Police said the incident happened around 10:40 p.m. in the area of 123 East 4th Street, after receiving reports of shots being fired.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified individual suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors treated the injury and listed the person in stable condition.
No arrests have been reported, and investigators have not released a possible motive for the shooting. 
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large as the investigation continues.
