A shooting that sent a man to the hospital in Orange has police investigating.
Multiple rounds of gunfire erupted on North Center Street at around 7:30 p.m. sending police to the scene where officers found the victim suffering gunshot injuries.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital in Newark with non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the legs.
Residents sought cover inside homes while the shooter unloaded more than a half dozen rounds of gunfire at the victim according to reports.
The suspect remains at-large.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
