One person was injured in a shooting in a section of Trenton on Saturday night.
Police reported gunfire in the 900 block of East State Street around 9:20 p.m., sending officers to the scene to investigate.
Units arrived and found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his leg at that location.
He was transported to an area hospital for treatment in serious but stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting and was not captured.
No motive has been given for the shooting at this time.
