Police in Newark are investigating a shooting that erupted in a neighborhood in the city.
Multiple rounds of gunfire rang out in two areas 400 block of 4th Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. sending police to the scene.
Arriving officers thoroughly canvassed the area where they located a car and a house struck by bullets in the 100 block of North 12th Street according to reports.
Witnesses observed a 4-door dark-colored BMW with tinted windows speeding from the scene.
Police did not find any injured victims.
The shooting is under investigation by Newark Police.
