Authorities are investigating late night gunfire that erupted at an apartment complex in the city that fatally injured one person.
Reports of shots fired erupted in the single digit block of Garden Terrace shortly before midnight sending police to the scene where they found a person reportedly suffering a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital in Newark where they were pronounced dead at around 1 a.m.
