Police in Paterson are investigating a shooting that left two people injured overnight in the city.
Cops responded to reports of shots fired that erupted in the area of Clinton Street and North 5th Street at around 10:30 p.m. where arriving units located two people shot at that location.
EMS were called to the scene where they transported the victims to St. Josephs Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries to the legs.
A crime scene was established as police searched the area for evidence and a possible suspect.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
