Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in a section of Newark this afternoon.
It happened in the vicinity of West Market and Fairmont around 3 p.m.
An armed suspect arrived in the area as began firing multiple rounds at unknown targets in the area.
Officers arrived at the scene and found shell casings, but no victims were reported.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
