Authorities in Trenton are investigating a shooting that caused injuries in the city overnight.
According to preliminary reports, gunfire erupted in the 700 block of Monmouth Street at around midnight where police responded and found at least one victim struck by gunfire at that location.
Police officers set up a crime scene as detectives canvassed the area searching for evidence and a possible suspect.
There were unconfirmed reports of one other victim found suffering gunshot injuries.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
There were no arrests reported.
