Trenton authorities are on the search for the suspect who fired shots at a man on a street in the city that caused injuries on Sunday morning.
According to police, reports of shots fired had police in the vicinity of Chambers Street and Morris Avenue where arriving officers checked the scene for victims but did not find any.
While police canvassed the scene, officials at St. Francis Medical Center notified Trenton Police officials of a person who entered the emergency department suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim alleged that his attacker fired shots at him then ran from the scene.
Trenton's Shooting response team will handle the investigation into the motive for the shooting.
