Authorities checked hospitals around the region for possible walk-in gunshot victims after a shots fired incident had police investigating on a street in Irvington Township Saturday morning.
There were no injuries reported after police responded to the vicinity of Park Pace and Yale Avenue at approximately 6:45 a.m.
Police officers arrived at the scene and requested a crime scene units after finding several shell casings but a search of the area for victims came back negative.
Police are investigating a motive for the shooting. No arrests have been reported.
