Police in Newark are reporting no injuries in a shots-fired incident in a section of the city on Friday evening.
According to police, at approximately 8 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 186 Pennington Street.
When units arrived at the scene, they found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after they searched the area, no victims were found.
Police say the suspects fired several rounds before fleeing the scene in a grey minivan.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
