Paterson Police are investigating an overnight shooting that occurred in a neighborhood in the city.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the area Broadway and Rosa Parks Boulevard at around 10:25 a.m. where police arrived at the scene to find multiple shell casings at that location.
Several police officers canvassed the area and found shell casings and blood but did not find a victim according to reports.
There is an investigation underway into the motive for the shooting.
