There were no injuries reported in a shooting incident in a section of Newark's South Ward Saturday morning.
According to police, a ShotSpotter device activated in the vicinity of 10 Marie Place shortly before 3:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found several shell casings o the small block that is adjacent to I-78.
Officers searched the area, but there were no victims found.
Police believe the suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV and is at large.
