Paterson Police are investigating a shooting incident in a section of the city on Thursday night.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 131 Totowa Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found blood evidence and shell casings at the scene.
After searching the area, police say they did not locate victims, but they did notify hospitals in the region to look out for potential walk-in patients.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been captured.
