Police are reporting no injuries in a shots-fired incident that occurred in a section of Newark's North Ward on Wednesday.
Police received reports of shots fired that rang out in the area of 226 Lincoln Avenue around 4:30 p.m.
Officers arrived at the scene and found several shell casings but there were no injuries reported after a search of the area.
Police say the suspect fired at unknown targets before fleeing the scene. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
No arrests reported.
