Police in Newark are looking into the motive for a shooting that occurred in Newark Friday evening.
According to police, the second of six separate shootings occurred at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Grove Terrace in Newark's West Ward.
Police said when they arrived at the scene, they found property damage and were told by witnesses that a gunshot victim entered a taxi cab that apparently drove him to the hospital.
Officers canvassed the area and found shell casings, but no victims were located at the scene.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at-large.
