Gunfire Erupts in Elizabeth: Suspect at Large

On Saturday night, gunfire erupted in the area of North Broad Street and Magnolia Avenue, leaving residents startled and law enforcement in Elizabeth on alert.

At approximately 10:15 p.m., local firefighters were reportedly the first to notify the police about the shooting.

Officers swiftly responded to the scene, where they discovered clear evidence that a shooting incident had indeed taken place.

However, after a thorough search of the area, law enforcement found no victims at the scene. The suspected shooter had already fled the vicinity and, as of now, remains at large.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the motive behind the incident, though no immediate details regarding the motive or the suspect's identity have been released.

Residents are urged to report information related to the incident to the local authorities.
