Officials in the Hudson County towns of Union City and Jersey City have announced a gun buyback that will occur on October 20, 2018.
Jersey City will hold the event at Heavenly Temple Church of God located at 15 Martin Luther King Drive while Union City will hold theirs at St. Anthony of Padius Roman Catholic Church located at 615 8th Street.
Hudson County residents can turn in up to three guns according to authorities.
