A 10-year-old girl was transported to the hospital after she was struck by a car Monday afternoon.
According to police, shortly after 3 p.m., the officers responded to the intersection of Fairway Road and Northern Parkway for a report of a pedestrian strike.
The girl was transported to The Valley Hospital with minor facial and knee injuries.
The crash remains under investigation, according to police.
