Girl Impaled by Tree Branch While Doing Back Flips in Linden

A child doing back flips on a Linden Street became impaled by a tree branch causing non-life threatening injuries over the weekend. 

The 7-year-old Bronx NY  girl was reportedly visiting relatives in Linden on Saturday evening when she began doing back flips and came in contact with an 8"  tree branch that became lodge through her abdomen according to authorities. 

The girl was conscious and alert when officers arrived and was tended to by paramedics while being transported to JFK Hospital in Edison where she was treated and released several hours later.
