An investigation is underway into a robbery that occurred at a gas station in Scotch Plain late last night.
Police responded to the BP Gas Station located in the 2400 block of Rt. 22 at around 10 p.m. for reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Units arriving to the scene located one of the employees who reported that a black male displayed a weapon and ordered cash before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
The masked suspect took an unknown amount of cash.
There were no injuries reported.
