One person suffered non-life threatening in a late-night shooting Paterson shooting incident.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 71 Garfield Avenue around 11:22 p.m.
Officers arrived and found the victim suffering a bullet wound after gunfire erupted in the community.
EMS transported the injured to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and the victim is expected to recover.
Police released no information on the shooter at this time.
