NJ State Police are on the scene of a crash on a highway in Union County at this time.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway near exit 140A in Union just after 3:05 p.m.
Police say a van and a car crashed in the left lane, causing the car to face the northbound.
There were complaints of injuries but nothing life-threatening, according to police.
The collision caused a two-mile backup on the highway.
The cause is under investigation.
