Galloway Township Weapons, Narcotics Raids Net Two Teens

According to The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, on July 21, 2022, Members of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns,  and Narcotics Unit (GGN), assisted by members of the Galloway Township Police Department and Atlantic County SWAT, executed search warrants upon two residences at 141 Colonial Court & 199 Patriots Courts in Galloway Township. \

Officials said the execution of the warrants resulted in the arrest of two males both of Galloway Township, NJ: Jalen Torres, 19, and Ibin Ingrum, 18.

Police recovered the following items from 199 Patriot Court:

  • Smith & Wesson 9 mm. handgun loaded with ball ammunition with hollow point ammunition in the chamber. (This firearm was located on their person of, Torres).
  • Multiple rounds of ball and hollow point ammunition along with shotgun shells.
  • Three high-capacity ammunition magazines.
  • $116.00 cash.
  • One digital scale.

Police recovered the following items from 141 Colonial Court:

  • Smith & Wesson .40 caliber handgun loaded with ball ammunition.
  • Taurus 9 mm. handgun loaded with ball ammunition.
  • Winchester 12-gauge Shotgun.
  • Multiple rounds of ball and hollow point ammunition.
  • Three high-capacity ammunition magazines.
  • Approximately 147.2 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl (approximately 5.19 ounces).
  • Approximately 39.3 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine (approximately 1.38 ounces).
  • $622.00 cash.
  • Multiple digital scales/paraphernalia.

According to officials, the execution of the search warrants and arrests are the culmination of an approximately 5  week-long GGN Unit investigation.

Officials say Torres and Ingrum were both charged with 1st and 2nd degree Controlled Dangerous Substance and Firearms offenses.

Torres and Ingrum were transported to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office for processing and lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
