The American Red Cross and The Plainfield Fire Division are teaming up to deliver and install free smoke alarms to Plainfield residents.
The initiative is called Red Cross Home Fire Preparedness Campaign and is partnered with the city of Plainfield to reduce the number of fire related injuries and fatalities in the city.
