Four Suspects Sought for Firing Shots on Street in Orange

There is an active search for four suspects who are wanted for a shots-fired incident that occurred on a street in Orange on Sunday evening.

According to police, the incident happened at approximately 6:10 p.m. where several 911 calls had residents reporting possible gunfire in the 200 block of Ivy Court.

​ Police say callers reported seeing four males on foot when a dark car approached a short time later gunfire rang out.

Fast responding Orange Police officers arrived and taped off the area after they located about a half dozen shell casings in front of 264 Ivy Court. A thorough search of the area indicated no injured victims at this time.

Police have not confirmed whether shots came from the vehicle or if the four suspects fired the shots while walking in the neighborhood.

According to police, all of the suspects wore black or dark-colored jackets and was last seen running on South Center Street toward Chapman.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
